It takes a lot of courage to reach out for help when we need it, and it has been my life’s work to try to support those who are willing to take that courageous step towards their future. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who has a passion for working with children and adults to help them to navigate the daily stressors and situations that can make life challenging.

I have worked in the mental health field for the past 10 years in a variety of settings including community mental health centers, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, in the school setting, as well as in private practice. I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Indiana University, and then also obtained a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University.

I tailor the therapy experience for each child or adult in a way that is most comfortable and effective for them. I pride myself in taking an honest and caring approach. I focus on developing a genuine and authentic working relationship so that each person can learn, grow, and improve their daily lives. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but also utilize other theoretical approaches to best fit the needs of each person.

I also specialize in helping those struggling with performance related anxiety, particularly regarding sports performance. I have worked with athletes of all ages as well as coaches on a variety of sports related concerns that impact competitive performance. I am dedicated to helping athletes of all ages overcome their anxiety in order to perform their best at their sport.
