Sarah Mishler, LMHCA
Sarah very much enjoys building the therapeutic relationship with her clients. She considers it a great honor and privilege to walk alongside her clients, helping them through whatever challenge they are facing in life. Having lived over half a century, Sarah brings life experience that can be helpful to clients of all ages but prefers to work with clients that are 21 and over.
Sarah works mainly from a psychodynamic perspective which focuses on the deeper aspects of our thoughts and feelings that often come from our past, but she also likes to help clients understand and create plans for dealing with their present life circumstances as well. Sarah is also interested in helping clients that are going through life transitions and what that means for them going forward. Sarah is also interested in her client’s existential views, helping her clients explore and understand their purpose in life. Sarah commits herself to helping her clients achieve their personal goals and to find hope and healing.
Sarah obtained her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Christian Theological Seminary and is practicing under the supervision of Joanna Bloss, LMHC to obtain her post graduate hours required for licensure eligibility. Sarah works on Tuesdays and can schedule an appointment within one week after a client’s initial call.
Due to her pre-licensure status, Sarah is able to offer a lower fee. She is looking forward to growing her practice in the Greenwood area and would very much like to hear from you.
